Annual BCBS July 1st Medicare Supplement Plan Rate Increase

If you have a BCBS Medicare Supplement you will see an Annual Premium increase every July 1st. This year's is excessive due to increased utilization rates. We are now receiving calls from clients regarding the letter sent by BCBS. The premium amount starting in July does not include any discount such as household (10%), if you are living with someone that is 60 years of age or older. So, subtract your discount from the stated premium on the letter.

 

Shana and Krystal are now texting every BCBS Supplement client to give clients a heads up. The BCBS advantage with their supplement plans over other companies, is that you change to a Plan N at a lower cost without answering the medical questions to pass underwriting.
